Evidence that I reviewed Wallan Secondary College's current Digital Learning Policy during my final professional placement and considered its implications for safe, responsible and learning-centred use of digital technologies.
Status: Wallan Secondary College confirmed in October 2026 that this is the current school document for this area. The policy review is complete and the APST 7.2 / ICT policy evidence gap is closed. This record demonstrates my engagement with the school's organisational requirements; it does not claim that every provision of the policy has been independently demonstrated in practice.
Reviewing the current school policy strengthened my understanding that classroom technology use is governed by school procedures and responsibilities, not simply by individual teacher preference. Wallan Secondary College has confirmed this Digital Learning Policy as the current school document for the area, so it is used as the current school-level ICT/digital-use evidence for APST 7.2 and AfGT E1(4e).
My current Year 8 Statistics planning uses digital tools including Gamma presentations, an iPad, Apple Pencil and classroom projection. Reviewing the policy provides a professional framework for considering how these technologies are used safely, responsibly and for a clear learning purpose.
