Mathematics classroom showcase · October 2026

Interactive teaching and learning resources.

Short, clearly sequenced Mathematics lessons developed with explicit modelling, guided practice, independent work and formative assessment. All diagrams and graphs are designed to be readable on classroom screens.

Teaching materials and delivery record

Three Year 8 angle lessons and one Year 9 parabola lesson.

Each session uses approximately 15 minutes of explicit teaching before practice or consolidation. The slide presentations and interactive demonstrations open directly in the browser — no Gamma account or credits are needed.

Evidence integrity: These are planning, presentation and practice resources; they do not show identifiable student work or imply achievement outcomes. Only Lesson 1 is confirmed delivered. Other session statuses reflect prior plans or resources prepared; they should be updated when teaching is confirmed. Presentations are web slides with fullscreen and print-to-PDF options; original offline PowerPoint files are maintained separately.
Why interactive demonstrations?

Students can see the mathematics change.

Model

Show the correct diagram or graph and think aloud about its mathematical properties.

Predict

Hide answers, ask students to justify their predictions, then adjust the angle or parabola together.

Check

Use guided questions and independent worksheet responses as formative assessment evidence.
